About – NMMS Scholarship Scheme Merit List

The NMMS Result 2020 8th Scholarship merit List State wise is declared for the students after qualified the Eligibility or Selection Test cutoff marks. There are MHRD has been launched the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme in 2008 with collaboration for SCERT state. However, it is a fully Central Sponsored Scheme for Class VIII students to further class IX to XII study programmes. The detailed of NMMS Scholarship Result 2020 Merit and Award is given below.

• There will be a total 100,000 scholarship award will be distributed under this scheme.
• The student’s parent income must be less than Rs. 1,50,000/- per annum from all sources to participate in this scheme.
• However, Each State/UT has a fixed quota of this scholarship.
• The Scholarship is awarded as based on the reservation criteria for Each State/UT own.
• The Scholarship will be provided with a yearly basis for Regular students who are studying in class IX, X, XI, XIII in a Government, Government-aided and local body school.
• Thus the NMMS Scholarship will be maximum fours years.
• The Scholarship will be Rs. 12000/- per annum @ Rs. 1000 per month.

NMMSS Selection Process

For awardee of National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme, 2020 is State Level Examination. Each State/UT will hold the own test for selection of students.

• Mental Ability Test (MAT)
• Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)

Thus the students those have qualified the NMMS Result 2020 Selection Test cut off marks will be considered for the scholarship. However, each state and UT will declare their Own Merit list of Class 8th NMMSS 2020 Exam.

NMMS Scholarship Cut Off Marks

The NMMS Scholarship Cut off marks 2020 is minimum qualifying marks for SAT  and MAT exam papers. There will be an aggregate minimum cut off percentage for both selection test.
