NEET PG 2020 Cut Off Category Wise Expected Qualifying Percentile

NEET PG Cut off 2020 AIQ Score Expected / Previous Year Cut Off Marks, qualifying percentile, Tie-breaker and other information are trending among the NEET Examinees. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) is a computer-based entrance test (CBT) which is held on January 5, 2020. NBE conducts the exam every year for admission to Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Postgraduate Diploma courses on the basis of score or ranks secured in NEET PG 2020. Admission will be done on 19953 MD seats, 10,821 MS seats and 1,979 PG Diploma seats under 6,102 colleges including Government, Private, Central and Deemed Universities. Aspirants will be shortlisted for admission on the behalf of NEET PG Cut Off 2020. The cutoff marks are the minimum qualifying percentile which mandatory in order to pass the exam. The NEET MD/MS cutoff percentile is subject to the National Board of Examinations which release along with the NEET PG result.

NEET PG Cut Off 2020

National Board of Examinations lasted application process from November 1 to 21, 2019. Recently, NEET PG 2020 conducted on January 5, 2020, on 162 exam centres. In compare to last year 14 centres increased whereas three previous centres excluded. Shortlisting of aspirants for admission will be done through NEET PG 2020 Cut Off Marks. The cutoff percentile varies for different categories in which general category aspirants have to secure at least the 50th percentile, while for OBC/SC/ST aspirants, it is the 40th percentile. So those aspirants who will secure qualifying percentile included in the NEET PG merit list.

So on the basis of NEET PG cut off, the merit list will define, which will base of admission to 50% seats in AIQ, Central/ Deemed universities, ESIC and AFMC institutes. However, allotment of seats in the institute will be done through NEET PG counselling 2020 which is mandatory to participate. It will conduct in two rounds by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Apart from all India Quota seats, the NEET PG cut off will be used by the respective state counselling authorities as well to derive the merit list for seat allotment to 50% state quota seats. NEET PG 2020 Admit Card

As well it is important to keep in mind that securing the minimum cutoff of NEET PG does not guarantee admission to PG courses. Aspirants must have to appear in counselling done on the basis of merit list. Thus the allocation of the seat will strictly be done on the basis of merit rank, preferred colleges and courses reservation criteria and availability of seats.

NEET PG Previous Year cutoff 2019 – 2018

As you know that it is mandatory to qualify the NEET PG 2020 exam. NEET PG 2020 Cutoff – Tie-breaker

If two or more aspirants are securing equal score in the merit list of NEET PG 2020, the authority will use the tie-breaking formula mentioned below.

  • Examinees with lesser incorrect answers in Part A, B & C will be entitled with the better position in the rank list.
  • Aspirants with the higher score in Part C will be preferred for better rank.
  • Lesser incorrect answer in Part C.
  • Securing a higher score in Part B.
  • Medical graduates with less number of Part B answers.
  • Higher marks in Part A will be considered at higher position rank.
  • Lesser negative answer in Part A.
  • In last, considering the age factor, the elder one will be preferred at the higher rank.
